aint that the truth:
Unraveling Duct Tape, Warts and All
"It's perfect for lazy guys that don't know how to fix things the right way," said Tim Nyberg, a co-author of the satiric "Jumbo Duct Tape Book" (Workman, 2000). "If you see anything fixed with duct tape," he added, "it says the person didn't know what he was doing."
this is a gem. thanks mike. you have earned the charmin award today.

After listening to President Bush's State of the Union address, I found his following comment ironic:
"Throughout the 20th century, small groups of men seized control of great nations, built armies and arsenals, and set out to dominate the weak and intimidate the world. In each case, their ambitions of cruelty and murder had no limit."
It sounds like Bush is talking about his own administration. It is built on nothing but lies and deceit.
today's basu is pretty good at summin it up for the measley minded iowans, who seem by the register's own poll of trick questions to get the poopy answers they wanted.

I'm not suggesting Saddam is trustworthy or that he has been wonderfully cooperative. But Bush never acknowledged any cooperation - meaning he doesn't really want Saddam to cooperate.
